TikTok has reportedly been working on a profile-viewer feature that would allow users to see who’s viewed their page. The opt-in feature is probably one of the most-wanted by social media users, many of whom want to know who looks at their content.
The feature was discovered by app researcher Kev Adriano and shared by Matt Navara on Twitter.
Social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube do not have a function that allows you to see who has viewed your posts. This makes it easy for fake websites to trick users into paying for a subscription. LinkedIn offers a similar feature, limited to premium subscribers.
TikTok has been trying to increase the interaction between its users and the platform, while at the same time giving content creators more control over their experience.
