The University of Nairobi today is holding its 63rd graduation ceremony and sadly but obviously it’s virtual, meaning that all the graduates are not present in the graduation square but watching from there homes using Microsoft teams.
The ceremony is attended by the Cabinet Secretary of Education, Prof George Magoha as indicated by a tweet from the Ministry Of Education below.
The ceremony is estimated to have started at around 8.00 am and will end at around 4.00 pm.
One of the best quotes from Prof George Magoha was
Education CS George Magoha’s piece of advice to University of Nairobi graduates: “Go out there to create jobs because when you go out to look for jobs you are shuttering your dreams.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected a lot of lives throughout the world and the education sector in Kenya has suffered a major blow despite the disadvantages of online graduation since there is no fun and joy associated with it, UON Is one of the few fortunate universities that have graduated its scholars most universities in Kenya will have to postpone the graduation ceremony till next year since forth years have not taken there final examinations.
