Ferdinand Omanyala, Africa’s fastest man over 100m, was crowned Kenya’s Sports Personality Of The Year on Tuesday.
The gala dinner was held at Bukhungu Stadium, Kakamega.
Omanyala’s tale was a wonder last year, setting many firsts for Kenya, including the first Kenyan to compete in the Olympic short-distance competition.
He also broke the national and African record over the period.
