More than 40 kids from Zion Children’s Home went through their night exposed to the cold after their landowner threw them out over rent unfulfilled obligations.
A portion of the kids spent Saturday night neglected and blustery sky while others were fortunate to get convenience from neighbors.
The proprietor, in the organization of hooligans outfitted with rough weapons, raged the structure and tossed everything outside on Saturday morning.
The thugs removed the windows and doorways introduced by the occupant, Simon Mwangi, a minister who has been running the kids’ home at Hunter’s in the rambling Kasarani home in Nairobi.
In the wake of throwing the youngsters’ property outside they locked the compound’s entryway.
However, the kids’ home author, the minister, disclosed to K24 Digital, that he doesn’t have any lease arrear.
He said that the structure proprietor moved toward him, saying that she needs to sell the property and requested Sh10 million or probably he empties.
In any case, the landowner said that the minister owes them Sh2 million in lease back payments, a case Mwangi denies.
Mwangi now is looking for help from wellwishers to make sure about another home for the youngsters or some rest from specialists before the landowner can be permitted to show them out.
A large number of the youngsters are vagrants who discovered asylum in the home after the 2007/8 post-political decision, having been dislodged from Mathare during the mayhem.
