Cursed is a series produced by Netflix that closely resembles Game of Thrones mixed with King Arthur, thet series assimilated the medieval times of witches and magic and is the best film to be watched by those who love epic movies
Netflix keeps searching for summer blockbusters, and Project Power looks like its latest. Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt star in this dark superhero film about city troubled by users of a drug that temporarily gives you superpowers. It comes out August 14th.
The New Mutants
20th Century Fox in association with Marvel Entertainment presents “The New Mutants,” an original horror thriller set in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants is being held for psychiatric monitoring. When strange occurrences begin to take place, both their new mutant abilities and their friendships will be tested as they battle to try and make it out alive. In Theaters April 3, 2020
Ethan Hawke stars as Nikola Tesla in this odd and theatrical looking biopic that seems to flit between the past and present. For some reason, it also involves Hawke occasionally standing against backdrops that look like they’d be in a classic Hollywood film. The movie comes out August 21st.
FEELS GOOD MAN
Feels Good Man talks to the creator of Pepe the Frog about having his creation stolen by white supremacists — and what he’s doing to try to take Pepe back. My colleague Adi Robertson reviewed the film at Sundance, writing that it has a “unique and uncomfortable appeal.” It comes out on September 4th.
Phillippe plays Secret Service Agent Vic Davis, who finds himself single-handedly fighting to thwart a terrorist operation and the attempted kidnapping of a Supreme Court justice’s daughter from her college dorm.
RADIOACTIVE is the incredible, true-story of Marie Skłodowska Curie and her ground-breaking scientific achievements that revolutionized medicine with her discovery of radium and polonium, ultimately changing the face of science forever. Marie was the first female to win the Nobel Prize and the first person in history to win the esteemed award twice. Oscar-nominated Marjane Satrapi (Persepolis) directs this dazzling cast, which includes Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl, A United Kingdom) as Marie with Sam Riley (Control) playing her beloved husband and Aneurin Barnard (Dunkirk) as her lover, Paul; rising star Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch) also stars, playing the young Irene, Marie Curie’s daughter. Available on Prime Video in the U.S. on July 24.
