The Kamulat village residents in Kipkaren on Thursday woke up to the death of a woman and three children, suspectedly by the father after a family dispute.
According to Kaplemur Assistant Chief Gilbert Chepkwony, the suspect, Philip Lokorwen, arrived home on Wednesday night and attacked his wife for alleged infidelity.
The children are said to have come to the defense of their mother, Risper Chelimo, angering the man who butchered them with a kitchen knife.They were aged 7, 9, and 11.
Police in Nandi county have rescued the man from the wrath of angry residents who wanted to lynch him for killing his family.
