Several estates in Nairobi County will experience an eight-hour-long power outage on Wednesday, January 26. This is according to a statement by the power utility firm, Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC).
Kenya Power noted that the outage was a result of planned maintenance activities between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Some of the estates affected by the interruptions include Two Rivers Mall, Whispers Avenue, United Nations Crescent, UN Avenue, Magnolia Close, Parts of Ruaka Road, Mae Properties, Runda Water, Benin Drive, Runda Road, Mimosa Drive, Mimosa Ridge, and Runda Gardens.
Others include Potterhouse School, Runda Mumwe, Glory Drive, Faith Avenue, Pan Africa Insurance, Jacaranda, Masanduku, Gitanga Road Mbaazi Avenue, Gitanga close, Muthangari road and adjacent areas in Lavington.
Kenya Power, however, affirmed that the power would resume after the maintenance time lapsed.
