On-screen character Kelly Preston has kicked the bucket at 57 after a fight with breast cancer.
Preston’s significant other, on-screen character John Travolta, composed an enthusiastic post on Instagram Sunday night, affirming that his better half of 28 years had kicked the bucket.
“It is with an exceptionally overwhelming heart that I illuminate you that my excellent spouse Kelly has lost her two-year fight with breast cancer,” Travolta composed. “She battled a fearless battle with the adoration and backing of such huge numbers of.”
“Kelly’s affection and life will consistently be recollected,” Travolta composed, expressing he wanted to get some much needed rest “to be there for my youngsters who have lost their mom. So pardon me ahead of time in the event that you don’t get notification from us for some time. Yet, it would be ideal if you realize that I will feel your overflowing of adoration in the many months ahead as we mend.”
The couple had three kids — girl Ella, 20, and children Benjamin, 9, and Jett, who kicked the bucket at age 16 in January 2009 subsequent to having a seizure while the family was in the midst of a get-away in the Bahamas.
Ella Travolta paid tribute to her mom on Instagram.
“I have never met anybody as gutsy, solid, wonderful and adoring as you,” she composed. “You have a sparkle and a light that never stops to sparkle and that causes anybody around you to feel quickly cheerful. Much obliged to you for being there for me regardless. Much obliged to you for your adoration. Much obliged to you for your assistance and thank you for improving this world a spot. You have made life so wonderful and I realize you will keep on doing so consistently. I love you so much mom.”

It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many. My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered. I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while. A family proclamation to People magazine said that Preston had decided to keep “her battle private.”
“She had been experiencing clinical treatment for quite a while, upheld by her nearest loved ones,” the announcement said. “She was a splendid, lovely and cherishing soul who thought profoundly about others and who carried life to all that she contacted. Her family requests your comprehension of their requirement for protection as of now.”
Preston featured in movies, for example, the 1986 parody “SpaceCamp,” “Twins” (1988), as Tom Cruise’s life partner Avery Bishop in “Jerry Maguire” (1996) and close by Kevin Costner in the games dramatization “For Love of the Game.”
Preston’s last film job was in 2018’s “Gotti,” playing Victoria Gotti, the spouse of Mafia manager John Gotti. It was a family issue as Travolta depicted John Gotti.
In September, Travolta and Preston commended 28 years of marriage.
