Property of obscure worth was wrecked when a fire broke out and leveled an area of Nairobi’s Gikomba showcase early Thursday morning.
As indicated by merchants who addressed Citizen Digital, the fire consumed portions of the market where mitumba and oats are sold.
The local group of fire-fighters showed up on scene to survey the harm and build up the reason for the fire as the dealers are currently left checking misfortunes during this effectively troublesome time of the coronavirus pandemic.
Fire disasters are not new to Gikomba advertise as they have apparently become to some degree a yearly event with dealers and some city heads understanding devilishness.
This place has a long history of arson attacks during these past years yet no one knows who is causing them. This has caused “mitumba” clothes’ prices to skyrocket hence making the market loose its value over time.
