Deputy President William Ruto will tour Kiambu County on Thursday as part of his work to drum up support for the self-styled hustler nation movement before the August 2017 general elections.
The DP will kickstart his day’s itinerary by pitching camp at Uthiru Gichagi in Kabete constituency along the Waiyaki Way at around 10am.
He is expected to address three rallies in Kikuyu Constituency beginning at 11am, taking him to Mama Ngina Primary, HGM Secondary and Kinoo shopping centre. He will then head to Zambezi for another rally until noon.
DP Ruto will hold a market walk at Kiambaa/Mùguga in Kabete starting at 1pm, and then proceed to Limuru constituency for a series of stops at Kabuku center and Ngecha shopping centre until 3pm.
Thereafter, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party leader will return to Kabete where he will hold camps at Wangigi town before wrapping up his day with a final rally at Kikuyu town in the same constituency.
Raila Odinga will on his part receive politicians from the Musalia Mudavadi-led Amani National Congress (ANC) party who will be defecting to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).
In Kitui County, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka will be holding a major rally at the Kitui Stadium, in the company of businessman Jimi Wanjigi, who is also running for president.
