Agent President William Ruto has impacted Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe for hauling his name into the most recent corruption charges at the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA).
This comes after Murathe on Tuesday recognized that Willbroad Gatei Gachoka, one of the overseers of Kilig Limited — an organization at the focal point of the outrage at KEMSA — is his long-term companion and colleague.
Murathe, notwithstanding, kept up that he was not engaged with at any rate in the multi-billion shillings delicate granted to Kilig Limited for the gracefully of COVID-19 packs in spite of his nearby relations with Gachoka.
Ruto seemed to be responding to Jubilee vice chairman David Murathe who censured him on Tuesday night during an interview on live television.
Murathe said the DP has been haunted by several graft allegations, and this does not give him the necessary credentials to inherit the presidency.
“Look at the scandals, the Weston Hotel land, the Ruai public land….when all these things follow you and you shamelessly walk around while you are number two, what will you do when you become number one?” Murathe said.
His statement came even as he was linked to a man at the centre of the Kemsa tender scandal.
