An officer is being hailed a legend after he saved a 3-week-old infant who was battling to breath.
The Sterling Heights Police Department in Michigan posted the dashcam video of the brave follow up on its Facebook page Monday.
Officer Cameron Maciejewski is seen racing to a call concerning a 3-week-old child who isn’t breathing on July 9. He is assaulted by the family when he shows up at their home and the mother is hysterical. Maciejewski tranquilly guarantees her and the remainder of the family before requesting the infant young lady.
He checks for indications of life before acknowledging something is trapped in her aviation route. He turns her over as the infant’s mom drifts over him and preforms a couple back pushes before the kid begins to cry.
The officer guarantees the family that the infant is alright as the mother tumbles to the ground in alleviation.
The infant was then gone over to the Sterling Heights Fire Department so the youngster could be taken to the emergency clinic for assessment.
“If not for Officer Maciejewski’s snappy, quiet, lifesaving activities, the result of this occurrence could have been shockingly extraordinary,” the police office said.
“Not exclusively did the officer spare the infant, yet the officer worked superbly supporting the family.”
Maciejewski qualities his fast reasoning and capacity to remain quiet to his preparation.
