Governors have closed down tasks in counties over absence of assets.
Council of Governors (CoG) seat Wycliffe Oparanya said in an announcement Tuesday that due to the continuous impasse on reserves stream, region governments must choose the option to continue to close down and suspend all unnecessary administrations.
“All non-essential services are hereby suspended and county employees are advised to proceed on leave for two weeks,” Mr Oparanya said.
He further said that district medical clinics won’t offer inpatient benefits however will give insignificant outpatient care.
A week ago, the Kakamega lead representative cautioned that province taxpayer driven organizations won’t be accessible as all area workers will be delivered to continue on leave until a neighborly arrangement on the income assignment recipe is reached.
He said counties were experiencing difficult stretches and can’t adequately release their capacities and general tasks including execution of advancement ventures and installment of pay rates to province staff particularly in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
