This is after High Court Judge Mumbi Ngugi excused his application that had provoked the choice by the DPP to press murder allegations.

On Monday, Obure had made an application to be an observer in the homicide preliminary, saying he had been helping out analysts.
Responding to the application on Tuesday, the workplace of the DPP noticed that starter examinations set the financial specialist in the region of the wrongdoing scene on a critical night, asking the court to strike out the application.
The court also heard that the CCTV footage that placed the businessman’s bodyguard Robert Bodo in the heart of the matter had been tampered with.
In an affidavit by Sergeant Bashir Boya Segelan, the decision to charge the applicant with murder was informed by the sufficiency of the evidence on record and the public interest.
